SPORTSMAS IS COMING

Ringside bells are ringing, crowds are singing, and we’re back with another huge Sportsmas period and an action-packed fixture list of sport.
And we’re not just talking football—there’s hours of horse racing, captivating cricket, dramatic darts, and much, much more to get you excited. Check out our Sportsmas calendar below for a rundown of the biggest events:

Fri20thDecember-MIDDLESBOROUGHVSTOKE.jpg
MIDDLESBROUGH V STOKE
A hearty haul of festive sport begins with a Championship cracker featuring two former Premier League teams looking to avoid the drop. Middlesbrough have steered clear of the relegation zone recently, and are unbeaten in their last 3 league games against Stoke.
Sat21stDecember-MAN-CITYVLEICESTER-.jpg
EVERTON V ARSENAL & MAN CITY V LEICESTER
The pre-Christmas Premier League rush is on, and this will be a Saturday to remember. Two teams who’ve experienced heavy upheaval recently meet at Goodison Park, as Everton host Arsenal in the early kick off. High-flying Leicester travel to the Etihad to take on Manchester City in the other stand-out fixture, with the Foxes looking to increase the gap between the two and secure their second-place position.
Sun22ndDecember-NFL.jpg
NFL
Forget ‘Ho Ho Ho!’, we’re shouting ‘Hut! Hut! Hut!’, because there’s a jam-packed schedule of hard-hitting NFL action from the US. So whether you’re a Dolphin, Titan or Raider, there’s plenty of action to tune into with 12 games on offer.

Sun22ndDecember-TOTTENHAMVCHESEA.jpg
TOTTENHAM V CHELSEA (WATFORD V MAN UTD)
Many will say this Super Sunday is an early Christmas present, and we couldn’t agree more. There are two tasty fixtures to send you into the festive break, with Watford hosting Manchester United and Jose Mourinho’s first match against his former club Chelsea.
Mon23rdDecember-NFL.jpg
NFL - CHIEFS AT BEARS (01:20AM)
Kansas head to the Windy City hoping to continue their domination of the AFC West, while the Bears need to pick up a win to get back into the NFC North picture. The Chiefs are a more balanced team this year, and will be looking to go one better than last year’s AFC Play-off Final defeat to the Pats and reach Super Bowl LIV.
Tues24thDecember-NFL.jpg
NFL - PACKERS AT VIKINGS (01:20AM)
Matt LaFleur will be hoping to continue making history in Green Bay—after becoming the first coach to reach double digits in his inaugural year, the Michigan native isn’t resting on his laurels. He’ll take on Play-Off hopefuls Minnesota Vikings at the U.S. Bank Stadium in a crunch matchup in the NFC North.
Thurs26thDecember-KINGGEORGECHASE.jpg
KING GEORGE CHASE
Not much beats Boxing Day racing from Kempton, and the King George Chase is the jewel in the crown. Featuring some of the best Group 1 racing outside of Cheltenham, it sets the scene for the run up to The Festival. Can Clan Des Obeaux make it 8 winners in 13 for Paul Nicholls?
Thurs26thDecember-LEICESTERVLIVERPOOL.jpg
LEICESTER V LIVERPOOL
Banish those post-Christmas blues with an (almost) full Boxing Day Premier League fixture list, live on Amazon Prime. Highlights include Steve Bruce returning to his old stomping ground when Newcastle travel to Manchester United, and Brendan Rodgers facing his former employers in the late kick off.
Fri27thDecember-DARTS.jpg
DARTS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
The biggest event in darts is well underway, with three-time champion Michael van Gerwen the favourite to defend his title. He faces stiff competition from the likes of Gerwyn Price, James Wade, Michael Smith, and final Farwell for Raymond van Barneveld. One thing is for certain though—Ally Pally will be rocking throughout the tournament with its famous electric atmosphere.
Fri27thDecember-WOLVESVMAN-CITY.jpg
WOLVES V MAN CITY
Wolves are hunting down a Europa League spot for the second successive season, and face a Man City side still trying to play catch-up with runaway leaders Liverpool. The Wanderers got the better of City in October, and are looking to become the first team to do a league double over the champions since Chelsea in 2016/17.
Sat28thDecember-BURNLEYVMAN-UTD.jpg
BURNLEY V MAN UTD
The busy festive schedule continues as we have another seven Premier League fixtures to enjoy. The early kick off is a South Coast derby between Brighton and Bournemouth at the Amex, while Burnley host Man Utd in the evening.
Sun29thDecember-CELTICVRANGERS.jpg
CELTIC V RANGERS
ARSENAL V CHELSEA

It’s derbies galore this Super Sunday, and they don’t come much bigger than a festive Old Firm clash. It’s the first time the sides have met since Fraser Forster decided to personify a wall in the Scottish League Cup final win for The Bhoys, with Rangers hoping to avenge that defeat. We then head to London as Arsenal take on Chelsea in a spicy fixture in the fight for the top four. Chelsea will want to end the year strongly, especially as they try to bolster their squad in January after their transfer ban was lifted.
Mon30thDecember-DERBYVCHARLTON.jpg
DERBY V CHARLTON
Monday Night Football comes from Pride Park as Derby host Charlton. The Rams have won five of the last six meetings between the two on home soil, drawing the other. Charlton are hoping to pick up some form going into the New Year and avoid heading back to League One at the first time of asking.
Wed1stJanuary-WBAVLEEDS.jpg
WBA V LEEDS
ARSENAL V MAN UTD

We’re ringing in the New Year with a host of fantastic footy from across the football pyramid. For some it signals a fresh start after a tough finish to 2019, and for others their New Year’s resolution will be to push on and chase promotion and silverware. The highlights include a tremendous top of the table clash between West Brom and Leeds in the Championship, and an old, fierce Premier League rivalry is reignited as Arsenal host Manchester United in the 20:00 kick off.
Thurs2ndJanuary-LIVERPOOLVSHEFFUTD.jpg
LIVERPOOL V SHEFF UTD
So this is it, the end of our Sportsmas period. But just before we go, how about one last festive fancy? It’s the dominant force that is Liverpool taking on a surprising Sheffield United. The Blades have suffered from VAR-itis in recent weeks, but Chris Wilder’s men are still sharp when on the road and will be looking to stop the relentless Reds in their tracks. United lost 1-0 at Bramall Lane in a close fought affair back in September, and will be looking to push Klopp’s men to the limit once more.
